Itinerary
Join us on a journey to one of the most cherished destinations on the planet, Litchfield National Park. Located just over an hour’s drive from the bustling city, we depart Darwin and head towards this world-renowned park. Litchfield National Park, enveloped in dense tropical rainforest, provides a refreshing retreat from the Top End’s warm climate.
Along the way, there’s a chance to experience the famous Jumping Crocodile Cruise on the Adelaide River (this is an optional extra), or explore the Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve. This area, managed actively by the Limilngan-Wulna people, is a spectacular site for observing the diverse wildlife of the Top End, including a variety of birds, turtles, water pythons, and the iconic Saltwater Crocodile.
Our adventure includes visiting the impressive Magnetic Termite Mounds and an opportunity to swim in one of Litchfield’s stunning natural plunge pools, such as Buley Rockholes or Wangi Falls. We will also visit a roaring waterfall like Florence Falls or Tolmer Falls, where you can admire the breathtaking beauty sculpted within the rocky escarpment. After a day of relaxation and exploration in the beautiful tropical national park, we will return to Darwin.
